The rules are brutal. You can stack draw cards, meaning if someone plays a +4, you can play a +4 to make the next person draw 8! The 7 and 0 rules apply: playing a 7 lets you swap hands with another player, and playing a 0 makes everyone pass their hand to the next player. The game ends when one player gets rid of all their cards, or everyone else is eliminated by the Mercy Rule (25+ cards).

The '7' card is the most powerful tool in your arsenal. Because it allows you to swap hands with any player, it's the ultimate panic button. Do not waste your 7s early in the game. Hold onto them until your hand is dangerously close to 25 cards, then swap with the player who has the fewest cards!
Never be the first to break a stack if you don't have to. If someone plays a Draw 2, and you have a Draw 4, wait to see if you can hold it. You want to be the one ending the stack, not starting it. Try to save your Draw 10s for when someone has already stacked a Draw 4 or Draw 6, ensuring the victim receives an immediate elimination.
In classic UNO, you try to spread the pain. In No Mercy, the goal is elimination. If a player has 15 cards, focus all your attacks on them. A single Wild Draw 10 will push them over the 25-card limit and eliminate them from the match.
The '0' card rotates all hands in the direction of play. Always pay attention to the direction arrow. If the person next to you has a great hand (very few cards), use a Reverse card before playing your 0, ensuring you receive their good hand instead of passing yours to them!
Try to win the game with an Action card (like a Skip or Reverse) rather than a number card. It gives you control over the board right until the very end.
